The framework behind every job search, promotion, and leap I coachInbox

Hello from Sibiu, my hometown in the heart of Transylvania! I am here till Sunday, and it's been the most soul-filling time here in connection with my family, my roots, this gorgeous land.

I had lunch with my dad, who is super fit and mentally sharp at 82. He's still working four days a week part time, two of those doing his old job as an accountant for the police, and the other two he volunteers at City Hall.

Even though my parents separated when I was 10, we're very close and deeply enjoy our time together. I love that he's up to date with paying bills via apps, and generally he's very upbeat and fun to talk to.

He asked me, "so what is it you actually do? I still don't get it. Are you a consultant, do you give people advice? What do people pay you for?"

I explained that I don't really give advice.

That people come to me for help to feel more confident when they're looking for a job, or when they want to get promoted, or to leave their corporate career to build something of their own, like I did.

I explained how so many of us are in self sabotage mode much of the time, and how that's rooted in fear and insecurities. How once we form new ways of thinking and rewire how we see ourselves and those around us, our innate innovative and strategic skills rise to the surface.

"Ah, so you help them be their better selves," he said. Indeed, that's what I do at the core.

I work with a lot of people, but almost everyone I coach has the same question: how can I trust myself in this challenging situation?

The answer never comes from more information they can access on YouTube, or ChatGPT.

To show up as your best self when interviewing for a job, it’s about staying emotionally regulated, anchored into your values and the truth of who you are.

The same is true for when you want to improve your executive presence and visibility to get promoted. And when you want to build your own business after building a corporate career.

It all comes down to building the inner muscles you need to lead with your strengths, to trust your vision, your ideas, and your ability to follow through.

That's what Inside-Out Leadership Accelerator (IOLA) is built to do. Here's how, across nine weeks.

» If you're rebuilding trust after a layoff

You go from applying from fear, to applying from clarity.

When every interview feels like an audition to prove your worth, your low energy is visible to those interviewing you. The question they want to answer is, can I trust this person with this challenging role?

From a place of deep self awareness, self trust, you show up amplified rather than shrinking. You're clear on who you are and what you want next and why you're the person for it. You walk into interviews steady, not scrambling.

» If you're stuck waiting for a promotion

You go from not landing with stakeholders, to showing up at your next level.

Somewhere between you and the stakeholders who decide your promotion, something is getting lost. You get stumped when you get asked a tough question. You freeze, or you scramble to make something up.

But what if you breathe, physically take up space, your back is straight, and you ask them for more context before you respond? You exude trust and competence with your sheer presence.

» If you're leaving corporate to build your own thing

You go from knowing what you want to do but waiting to feel ready, to trusting yourself enough to build something at a steady pace.

What keeps so many people from starting is often a confidence and identity built around the corporate role. Fear of leaving the structure, the title, the paycheck. Feeling exposed.

When you trust yourself to start, fear doesn't disappear. But you trust yourself because of all your experience to date, and knowing you have what it takes to stay grounded and focused without the old structure in place.

INSIDE-OUT LEADERSHIP ACCELERATOR (IOLA) STARTS SEPTEMBER 25TH

Weeks 1 to 3: Anchor

  • You get honest about what's actually driving you right now, separate from the job search panic, the promotion frustration, or the leap you're considering.

  • You get to know your self-sabotaging patterns (self-doubt, hyper-vigilance, perfectionism, hyper-achievement, whatever yours is) and start building an inner steady foundation: self-trust.

Weeks 4 to 7: Expand

  • This is where self-trust becomes real. You walk into interviews or meetings without over-explaining. You hone your voice, show up differently.

  • You make decisions without feeling like you need to ask permission unnecessarily.

Weeks 8 to 9, Amplify

  • You experience an inner shift after experimenting regularly with expanding past your fear in lower and higher stakes situations.

  • You've built new habits and working rhythms that hold. You carry what you've built forward, into the new job, the new role, or the new business.

None of this happens by more knowledge or insight alone. If it did, a good podcast or YouTube video would fix it.

The shift happens because you practice being the version of yourself who trusts their own judgment, in real situations, alongside others doing the same work.

You leave with evidence, not just insight. Proof you can point back to the next time doubt shows up.

Early bird pricing is available through August 28th.

If this struck a chord, I'd love to talk about whether IOLA is the right next step. You can find more details and save your spothere.

And if you haven’t seen my last newsletters
